The Christmas story can be found in two of the gospels, Matthew and Luke. Most of the readings we’ve heard on the Christmas story include excerpts from both of them. While I love them both, the story from Luke has always been my favorite.

I guess it’s because Luke was a physician and gathered his information directly from Mary, using the meticulous questioning of a doctor, I’m sure. Christmas is always a special time of year, regardless of your personal spiritual beliefs. Deep down we all seem to know it’s about so much more than just gifts under the tree. Even my beloved Christmas Vacation comedy with Clark Griswold sends a message of the true spirit of Christmas being found in giving… not getting!
I hope you spend a blessed time with your family and friends this Christmas!
I’ll see you next week as we close out 2017 with an article on…
4 secrets I learned on how to build relationships through great conversations.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!
All the best,
Russ
